This piece is on display at "The Royal Tea Art Show" hosted at St. Petersburg City Theatre (4025 31st S.) celebrating Pride Month.

The Stonewall Inn in New York City was the home to the Stonewall Riots in 1969. The right side of the building speaks to its history and prior to it being divided. The right side of the building speaks to how far the LGBTQ+ community has come since those riots and the builiding is now solely dedicated to our history as the left side has since been turned into a visitors center to educate folks about the history. The windows each have a focus; 1^st window speaks to all the identieis and flags that have evolved over the years; 2^nd window speaks to modern LGBTQ+ icons; 3^rd windows represents historical milestones for the LGBTQ+ community; 4^th windows represents the six nights of riots that took place; 5^th window honors the elders who stood tall and some organizations that came from the riots; 6^th window represents the things that led to the climax of the riots; and the 7^th window shows the things that lived on the right side of the building between the time it was the Stonewall Inn to today as the Stonewall Visitors Center.
